The Case
When we went out, there wasn’t even a youth club. There was the bus stop, the gas station, or someone’s garage. And to this day, not much has changed. Always caught between madness and monotony. Sometimes you love it, sometimes you just want to get the hell out.
But no matter what you want… where you grew up, you can never fully leave behind. Not the good, not the bad. And in the end, nothing really shines.
That’s exactly what Kiddies im Block is about.
“Kiddies im Block”: Caught between madness and monotony. Amidst all the glamour, there’s also a lot of shit. Between all the great moments and the total burnout of growing up in the provinces. In recent years, so many people from our circles have struggled—financially, mentally, physically. The full package: COVID, war, inflation, the fascists getting stronger, and everything feeling more and more like a movie. Many left MV, only a few came back. Some made it and found happiness. Others got stuck.
