Documentary is where I started and it still sets the tone for everything else. The method is simple: show up early, stay longer than is comfortable, and let people forget the camera is running.

These are films about work, place and the people who hold both together — made for broadcasters, cultural institutions and NGOs, and often shot single-handed to keep the room quiet.
