I’m Jan Lewandowski,a filmmaker, director, photographer and visual storyteller.Based in East Frisia. Working between Hamburg and the world.

My work moves between documentary, fiction and hybrid forms, exploring people, places and ideas across cultural, commercial and independent projects.

I’m driven by curiosity and a desire to look closer – to understand different perspectives and translate them into a distinct visual language, with clarity and Fingerspitzengefühl.

I believe in collaboration, human experience and stories that go beyond the obvious.
