Fritz Schumacher shaped Hamburg with numerous public buildings – including over 30 schools, many of which are still in use today. Commissioned by the Fritz Schumacher Society, this film was created as part of multimedia teaching materials for art classes in grades 5 to 7.
In it, students explore their school building, its surroundings, and its connections to the city – visually, historically, and creatively. The film accompanies this process and brings the architecture of everyday life into focus.
